Three local bands will take the centre stage for one night in April at the Winspear Centre.
Sounds of YEG, an addition to the Live at the Winspear Series, will feature three of Edmonton’s “most electrifying bands” in Derina Harvey Band, Brasstactics and Melafrique on Thursday, April 17, the Winspear Centre said.
“We know that Edmonton is the City of Champions, and that includes our exceptional musicians,” said Anne-Marie Switzer, Director of Musical Creativity at the Winspear Centre.
“This event amplifies the incredible music scene in our city, bringing together some of the most impressive homegrown artists for an electrifying live experience,” said Anne-Marie Switzer, director of musical creativity.
“It’s the first of many events that will celebrate local talent, connect with audiences, and continue to inspire for years to come.”
