Police searching for culprit in fatal shooting in north Edmonton last week

A woman who was found dead at a north Edmonton townhouse complex last week was fatally shot, an autopsy has determined.

Angel Daniels, 26, was found dead in the area of Homestead Crescent and Hooke Road at 8:40 p.m. on Friday.

An autopsy on Tuesday found the manner of death was a homicide.

Police are asking anyone in the Overlanders neighbourhood with home security or dash camera footage from between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Feb. 21 or anyone who witnessed something suspicious to contact them at 780-423-4567.
