Honda Civics to Maseratis: Edmonton Auto Experience brings ‘something for everyone’ this weekend

Edmontonians can check out some of the newest exotic cars and test drive different vehicles at this weekend's Auto Experience event.

An Edmonton car show is bringing in some of the latest and greatest builds to the Expo Centre this weekend.

The 2026 Edmonton Auto Experience is a four-day showcase beginning Thursday. It’s set to feature everything from the classic Honda Civic to the first Canadian reveal of the Maserati MCPURA Cielo.

“We’ve come back bigger and better than we did last year. We have more brands participating. We have double the footprint and more activations to see,” said show manager Eleasha Naso.

“We like to have something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a family vehicle, a summer vehicle, maybe you’re camping … we try to touch every avenue in the industry.”

On the more luxurious side, visitors will be able to witness the in-person Alberta reveal of the Aston Martin Valhalla, which starts at $1.5 million.

For those looking to test drive, or at least see something a little more economical, the event will offer a closed-course EV test track and display models of the latest Honda Civic, Porsche Taycan, Hyundai Palisade or Kia EV9.

Attendees could also watch freestyle motocross and flat track racing shows each day thanks to a partnership with YEG Motorcycle.

The Edmonton Auto Experience runs Thursday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the exception of a 6 p.m. end on the final day. General admission is $20.
