If you’re looking to enjoy some music outdoors this summer, mark your calendars for Edmonton JazzFest starting June 21.

The festival will be running for nine days, featuring live performances until June 29 across various venues in the city.

You can watch performances at the Winspear Centre, Starlite Room, Bellamy’s Lounge, The Varscona Theatre and the Jazz Club at Chateau Lacombe, Yardbird Suite and La Cité francophone.

“Jazz music, as with any music, has the power to unite us in the shared experience of live performance,” said festival producer Kent Sangster in a news release.

“We hope you will join us in discovering your jazz as music brings us all together during our annual JazzFest.”

Some of the artists and bands you can expect are Kneebody, Richard Bona Trio, Christine Jensen Quartet, Mike Stern Band, The High Society Jazz Band and more.

Tickets range from free indoor and outdoor performances and up to $69.99 for international headliners and can be purchased online.

People can also buy tickets for an increased price at the venue doors on show night if space is available.
