Heavy police presence in Kentwood: Red Deer RCMP

A heavy police presence could be seen in Red Deer Saturday night as Mounties searched Kentwood for a suspect.

At about 7:15, RCMP warned residents about a police operation in the area. Mounties were looking for a man with red hair and bright red hoodie.

If the man is seen, residents should not approach him and should call RCMP at 403-406-2200 or 911 in an emergency.

People are asked to avoid the area while officers work.
