One person has been arrested and charged after St. Paul RCMP seized a variety of guns, cash, crossbows and drugs from a home on Saddle Lake Cree First Nation.
Last month, after a five-month investigation, several RCMP units executed a search warrant at the home and arrested a 44-year-old man, police said in a Thursday news release.
Some of the items seized include: 52 grams of cocaine, three rifles, ammunition, two crossbows, swords, nunchucks, more than $2,000 in cash, as well as fake cash.
The accused is facing several charges, including nine counts of firearm-related offences, possession of cocaine and methamphetamines for the purpose of trafficking.
The man charged will appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Paul on April 10.
