Giant snowman waving Oilers flag pops up on Edmonton roadway

A giant snowman waving an Edmonton Oilers flag has appeared in the area of Yellowhead Trail and Fort Road.

A giant snowman has popped up near the intersection of Fort Road and Yellowhead Trail.

The snowman, which appears to be about 12 feet tall, is holding an Edmonton Oilers flag and a Canadian flag.

It’s not known who built the giant sculpture.

The Oilers will take on the Detroit Red Wings at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Rogers Place.
