A person was killed in a crash on Deerfoot Trail on Tuesday morning.
Police said a vehicle rolled over on northbound Deerfoot Trail N.E., under the Eighth Avenue overpass, leaving one man dead.
As a result, the northbound lanes of Deerfoot Trail were closed between Memorial Drive and 16th Avenue N.E. for several hours. Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
Police said the lanes were expected to reopen after 2 p.m.
