A former staff member at a Calgary rehabilitation centre is charged with voyeurism and distributing intimate images without consent.

A Calgary man is facing charges for allegedly possessing and sharing intimate photos without consent while working at a rehabilitation care facility.

Police launched an investigation in January after they were notified by a current staff member that another employee was believed to have intimate photos of one of the facility’s clients on his cellphone without their knowledge or consent.

After further investigation, police learned the suspect was allegedly sharing an intimate video of himself and an adult woman without her consent. The woman was not a client at the facility.

Police executed a search warrant in the 8500 block of 8A Avenue S.W. on March 24.

Kyle Lozano, 27, was charged with one count of voyeurism and two counts of distributing intimate images without consent.

Police noted Lozano no longer works at the care facility.

He is scheduled to appear in court on May 6.
