Passenger seriously injured in Nose Hill crash, witnesses asked to come forward

A woman suffered life-altering injuries in a two-vehicle collision Sunday night in Calgary, at Nose Hill Drive and 87 Street N.W.

Calgary police say neither impairment nor speed are believed to be factors in a weekend crash on Nose Hill Drive N.W. that seriously injured one person.

The collision happened in the intersection with 87 Street N.W. around 3:40 p.m. on Sunday.

Investigators believe a Nissan Murano travelling east on Nose Hill Drive hit a westbound Dodge Dakota as it turned left onto 87 Street N.W.

The driver of the Nissan suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene by EMS, while a passenger in the vehicle was taken to hospital with serious, life-altering injuries, according to police.

The driver of the Dodge and two passengers in the vehicle all suffered minor injuries. They were treated at the scene by EMS.
