RCMP closed a section of the Trans-Canada Highway on Friday after a crash just west of Canmore.
At 7:15 a.m., officials said the eastbound lanes were closed following a crash involving a transport truck.
The Town of Banff said later on social media that no one was injured in the crash and traffic was flowing again.
It reminded drivers to take caution around crash scenes, drive slowly past emergency vehicles and give personnel room to do their jobs.
