Ensuring Lethbridge has a skilled and resilient workforce is one of the focuses of a newly signed memorandum of understanding between the city and its university.
On Tuesday, officials with the City of Lethbridge and the University of Lethbridge signed the memorandum of understanding to continue collaborations and reinforce the long-standing partnership between the two.
The document is part of the university’s updated strategic plan that was released last week.
It highlights the importance of students as knowledge-makers and cultural contributors through applied learning, research and volunteer experience.
The memorandum of understanding formalizes the relationship between the city and the U of L that has been happening for the past 60 years.
