On Tuesday, officials with the City of Lethbridge and the University of Lethbridge signed the memorandum of understanding to continue collaborations and reinforce the long-standing partnership between the two.

The document is part of the university’s updated strategic plan that was released last week.

It highlights the importance of students as knowledge-makers and cultural contributors through applied learning, research and volunteer experience.

The memorandum of understanding formalizes the relationship between the city and the U of L that has been happening for the past 60 years.
