The Big Four Building at Stampede Park attracted barbers from across Canada on Sunday.
The venue played host to the Empire Barber Expo, with many vendors.
There were also five barber competitions, with a top prize of $1,000.
The event brought together people with a shared passion.
“Barbers generally are pretty passionate, artistic kinds of people,” said organizer Moe Hayder. ”A lot of young barbers as well, just getting into the industry. They’re really passionate about what they do.”
This was the first year for the expo, and organizers says there are already plans to bring it back next year.
