CULINARY SHOWDOWN
Two sous chefs will go head to head in a thrilling Iron Chef–style competition, serving up bold flavours, big personalities and unforgettable dishes.
The high stakes culinary showdown is presented by the Peggy Hill Team and takes place at Tangle Creek Golf and Country Club in Thornton.
Every ticket sold supports the Busby Centre with proceeds helping fuel the organization’s efforts assisting Simcoe County’s growing homeless population.
Two chefs will dish out appetizers, main courses and desserts, putting their skills and creativity to the test. It’s up to the audience to taste each dish and vote for the ultimate winner.
The Busby Centre is a registered charity that provides essential support and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness across Barrie and Southern Georgian Bay.
“We are thrilled to support the Iron Chef competition. With all proceeds going to the Busby Centre—which helps people stay fed and out of the elements—I couldn’t think of a better cause to stand behind. No one should have to wonder if they will eat in a day. We are a rich country; we just need to remember that life has its ups and downs. If you’re not in a down period right now, help someone who is." — Peggy Hill, Real Estate Broker, Peggy Hill Team
