Sudden death under investigation near Alliston soccer complex

Police are investigating a sudden death that took place near a soccer field in Alliston Thursday.

Provincial Constable Coty Hietanen with the Nottawasaga Detachment tells CTV News there does not appear to be any foul play. However, the exact cause of death remains unknown.

A police presence can be seen in the area of GA Wright Athletic Field on Albert Street East.

Authorities have not released the identity of the person and say the coroner has been contacted for further investigation.
