Several schools will remain closed on Monday following ongoing power outages from last weekend’s ice storm.
SCDSB
Brechin PS, Marchmont PS, and East Oro PS, will remain closed to students and staff.
All other SCDSB schools are open.
SMCDSB
Foley CS in Brechin remains closed to students and staff as they grapple without hydro.
Schools in the District of Muskoka and Orillia are open.
TLDSB
Glen Orchard Public School in Zone 1 remains closed.
“We are waiting to resolve an issue affecting the operation of the school. If resolved before 6-6:30 a.m. Monday morning, school families and staff will be communicated with letting them know the school will open,” shared Carolynne Bull with Trillium Lakelands.
Transportation is running in all five zones to all schools that are open, however, there may be disruptions to individual routes.
