Police from the Nottawasaga Detachment are investigating a break and enter in a Tottenham home.
On Friday, officers were called to 12 Sydie Lane, in the Town of New Tecumseth.
When officials arrived on scene, they say they found the basement window of the Sydie home pried open.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the owner arrived home from work at approximately 8:15 p.m., when the home owner went through the garage and into their mudroom they noticed that clothes had been allegedly thrown all over the floor and a safe had been reportedly taken.
Home surveillance obtained by police shows what appears to be two men leaving through the front door of the Tottenham home at 4:48 p.m.
Police say the suspects left the area before officers made it to the scene.
Officials reported that one man was seen carrying the safe wrapped in a blanket, then what is believed to be a black Ford Escape is also observed backing into the driveway as a third man is alleged to be leaving the driver’s side of the vehicle to assist the others.
Video tracked down by OPP officers also shows a woman walking around the Syndie home on a cell phone at approximately 4:24 p.m.
Suspect 1: is described as man, wearing a black jacket/hoodie, black pants, black shoes, black crossbody bag, black gloves, black hat, surgical mask.
Suspect 2: is described as man with tan skin, wearing a beige/black jacket, grey track pants, brown shoes, grey toque, surgical mask,
Suspect 3: The driver: is described as man, wearing a grey jacket, black hat, surgical mask, and black pants.
Suspect 4: is described as woman, wearing white pants, surgical mask, black jacket, black shoes, pink hijab.
