Man taken into custody as part of police investigation in Bradford

One man was taken into custody following a police investigation in Bradford.

South Simcoe police are remaining tight-lipped regarding the details of an investigation in a Bradford West Gwillimbury neighbourhood Thursday afternoon.

Several officers, including the emergency response and K9 units, attended a residence on Britannia Avenue on Thursday afternoon.

Police aren’t revealing much, but did confirm to CTV News a 25-year-old man from East Gwillimbury was taken into custody.

They did not provide further information concerning the situation or whether any charges had been laid.

Police say no injuries were reported, and stated in a social media post there was no concern for public safety.

The police service says the investigation has concluded.
