Police responded to two separate crashes in the Orillia area on Saturday that led to drivers getting charged with impaired driving offences.
According to Orillia OPP, the first incident occurred at around 2 a.m., where officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on New Brailey Line in Severn Township.
Police say the responding officers were led to an impaired driving investigation upon their arrival at the scene.
The 26-year-old male driver from Wasaga Beach was charged with impaired operation (alcohol) and impaired operation with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
The second incident, according to Orillia OPP, occurred at around 11:15 a.m., where officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Laclie Street in Orillia.
No injuries were reported, however, police say the officers were once again led to an impaired driving investigation.
