P.E.I. RCMP investigating three suspicious fires in Miscouche

Police in Miscouche, P.E.I., are investigating three suspicious fires in the community this week.

The RCMP and Miscouche Fire Department first responded to a report of tires on fire on Route 122 around 2:40 a.m. Sunday.

At 3:50 a.m. Sunday they responded to a report of an abandoned house on fire on Route 2.

Two days later, at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, they responded to a cabin fire in a wooded area.

Police say no one was injured, but the structures were destroyed, and the fires are considered suspicious.

Prince District RCMP is asking anyone with information about the fires to contact police at 902-436-9300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
