The Prince Edward Island RCMP says a man who was wanted by two detachments for several offences over the past five weeks has been arrested.
The Queens District RCMP said earlier this week that Charles “Chad” Boshuis, 35, was wanted on the following charges:
- assault in relation to an alleged incident on Feb. 24
- failure to comply with a probation order on Feb. 25
- failing to attend court on March 17
The Kings District RCMP was also looking for Boshuis. He is facing the following charges in connection with an alleged incident on Friday:
- arson with disregard for human life
- mischief damage to a motor vehicle
- possession of incendiary material
- two counts of failing to comply with a probation order
Police did not share any details about the alleged incidents.
The RCMP said in a post on social media Wednesday morning that Boshuis has been found and arrested without incident.

No other details about his arrest have been released.
