Police investigating two sudden deaths on Nova Scotia trail

RCMP in Nova Scotia say they're investigating the sudden deaths of two people in the Lunenburg area.

Nova Scotia RCMP is investigating the sudden deaths of two people.

Police said around 1 p.m. Friday, they responded to a sudden death on a trail in Lake Pleasant, N.S. When officers arrived, an 84-year-old woman was found dead. Shortly after, an 85-year-old man was found dead nearby.

Police said the deaths are not believed to be suspicious, however the investigation is ongoing.

Lunenburg County District RCMP is working with Annapolis District RCMP, RCMP Digital Forensic Services and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.
