RCMP in Annapolis Valley, N.S., investigate armed robbery

RCMP in Middleton, N.S., is investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store on Main Street.

Police responded to a report that a man entered the store and demanded money while pointing what appeared to be a knife at approximately 8:35 p.m. Thursday, said an RCMP news release.

The man left on foot going east on Main Street, the release said.

Police said the suspect is believed to be between five-foot-eight and six-foot. They said he was wearing black pants, a black sip-up hoodie, black toque, a white neck warmer covering his face and brown boots with black soles.

Police were supported by RCMP police dog services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services during the initial call.

Nobody was harmed during the incident.
