A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Halifax Thursday night.
Halifax Regional Police responded to the scene on Robie Street between Livingstone and Stairs streets around 10 p.m.
A road closure was in place and people were asked to avoid the area while police investigated.
Police are on the scene of a vehicle/pedestrian collision in the 3000 block of Robie St., Halifax.

The area reopened to traffic around 12:20 a.m. Friday.
There is no word on the extent of any injuries.
