A 36-year-old Middle Sackville, N.S., man was arrested after police responded to a report of an armed man in the community Saturday.
The RCMP responded to a report of a man armed with a knife walking on Millwood Drive around 7 p.m.
Police say officers quickly located the man, who was in possession of a knife.
The man was arrested and taken to the Lower Sackville RCMP detachment.
He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court on April 30 to face charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and resisting arrest.
No injuries were reported to police.
