N.S. man wanted on provincewide arrest warrant

The Nova Scotia RCMP is trying to track down a man wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant.

Police say 54-year-old Kirk Patrick Brown of East Preston is facing two charges of failing to comply with a release order. Police add Brown also has other charges before the court involving intimate partner violence.

Police describe Brown as six-foot-two, weighing around 185 pounds, with a shaved head and brown eyes.

The RCMP says they’ve made several attempts to locate Brown but have been unsuccessful. They believe he is in the Halifax area, according to a news release on Wednesday.

Police are asking anyone with information about Brown’s whereabouts to contact the RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment at 902-420-5020 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
