Saint John Police search for man wanted on Canada-wide warrant

Police in Saint John, N.B., are looking for a 29-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Police issued a warrant for Jaden Sauve on Sunday for allegedly breaching the conditions of his statutory release after failing to return to the Community Correctional Centre in Saint John.

Sauve is described as five-foot-seven and 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The force says Sauve is serving an eight-year and six-month sentence for:

  • aggravated assault
  • discharge of a firearm
  • use of a firearm while committing an offence
  • unauthorized possession of a motor vehicle
  • possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm with ammunition
  • possession of a firearm knowing it’s unauthorized
  • carrying a concealed weapon
  • dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
  • flight from police
  • failure to comply with a probation order

Police say Sauve should not be approached if seen.
