A 47-year-old man from Grand Manan, N.B., has been charged and two others arrested after police say they seized drugs from a vehicle in Pocologan, N.B.
Police stopped the vehicle on Highway 1 around 5 p.m. Friday.
During the stop, RCMP arrested a 47-year-old man for breaching and undertaking. Police then searched the vehicle and seized quantities of what is believed to be cocaine.
“Subsequent to the search, two passengers, a 48-year-old man and a 36-year-old female from Grand Manan, were also arrested,” reads a news release from RCMP.
On Monday, Gregory Lloyd MacFarland appeared in Saint John provincial court and was charged with failure to comply with the conditions of an undertaking.
He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court at a later date.
The force says the 48-year-old man and 36-year-old woman were released from custody pending a future court appearance.
