Man, woman found dead inside northern New Brunswick home: police

Police in northern New Brunswick are investigating the deaths of a man and woman.

Police say they are investigating the deaths of two people who were found inside a home in south Bathurst, N.B., over the weekend.

The Bathurst Police Force responded to a report of a possible sudden death at a home on Frenette Street around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police say they found an unresponsive 50-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman inside the home. They were later pronounced deceased.

Both the man and the woman were residents of Bathurst.

Police say they do not believe criminality to be a factor in their deaths at this time.

A member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s office is assisting with the investigation, which is ongoing.
