The price of gas increased in the Maritimes overnight following a significant drop on Tuesday with the removal of the consumer carbon tax.
Nova Scotia
The price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 2.8 cents overnight in Nova Scotia. The minimum price is now 149.3 cents per litre in the Halifax-area.
Diesel prices did not change. The minimum price remains 161.2 cents per litre.
The new minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline in Cape Breton is 151.2 cents per litre. The minimum price of diesel is still 163.1 cents per litre.
Prince Edward Island
The price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 4.6 cents on P.E.I. to a new minimum price of 154.2 cents per litre.
Diesel prices decreased by 3.4 cents. The new minimum price is 162.5 cents per litre.
New Brunswick
The price of regular self-serve gasoline in New Brunswick increased by 5.8 cents. The new maximum price is 149.8 cents per litre.
Diesel prices decreased by 0.8 cents, bringing the maximum price to 160.9 cents per litre.
